Ready to Move Forward? Here’s What You Can Expect Next.
Now that you’ve chosen the smart, cost-effective solution of refinishing, we’ll guide you through every step of the process to ensure a smooth, stress-free experience.
WHAT TO DO BEFORE WE ARRIVE:
Please have the surfaces cleared of any items. Shampoo, soap, and everything else removed from the bathtub. Microwaves, knickknacks, dishes all removed from counter. Sink free and clear of dishes. An additional fee will be added for excessive cleaning, so if there are years of soap scum built up, you may want to give it an initial scrub before we arrive.

HOW LONG IT TAKES:

Project Timeline
Most refinishing projects are completed in just one day, allowing you to enjoy your refreshed space with minimal disruption. For larger or more complex jobs, additional time may be required. We’ll discuss the estimated duration with you in advance to ensure clear expectations and a smooth experience from start to finish.
AFTER WE ARE DONE:
Understanding the Drying & Curing Process
There are three stages of drying to be aware of after your surface is refinished:
-
Dry to the Touch
The surface will feel dry within a few hours, but it is not yet ready for use. -
Ready for Light Use
After 24 hours, the surface can typically handle light, careful use. We’ll let you know exactly when it’s safe to resume normal activity. -
Fully Cured
Full curing can take up to 30 days, depending on factors such as temperature and humidity. During this time, avoid harsh cleaners and heavy use to ensure the finish sets properly and lasts for years.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
Use only non-abrasive cleaners such as Dawn dish soap or other mild cleaner which specifically states “Approved for acrylic surfaces” on the label, but apply with only a mildly-abrasive sponge.
Fix any dripping faucets as soon as possible to prevent damage, rust stains and mineral deposits from your water pipes damaging the finish.
DO NOT USE: Comet, Ajax, Bleach, Kaboom or other abrasive cleaners, acids, toilet bowl cleaners or any product not designed for acrylic bathroom cleaning.
DO NOT USE: Brillo-pads, harsh scrubbing sponges, steel wool, sandpaper, or any other gritty object or cleaner to clean the tub.
DO NOT USE: ladders, tools, chairs, or any other heavy object that could damage the surface.

Important Note for Contractors & Renovation Projects
To ensure the highest quality finish, please schedule our refinishing services as the final step in your renovation process.
The quality of our work depends heavily on a clean, dust-free environment. If flooring, painting, or other construction is still underway, airborne dust and debris can settle into the fresh coating, compromising the final result.

For best results, please allow us to complete our work once all other trades have finished.
